!?: Automatic start backup generator for solar system!?

Hi,

I am trying to find a automatic start backup generator for my solar system.

My inverter has 2-wire remote activation function (close/open circuit).

Could you please help me with what generators of yours would be suitable!?

The Redstone Digital R6000D, Ref.18381622, it is compatible with solar systems, but I cant find any manual to confirm that it will work.

Hi @TikkaT, the diesel generator REDSTONE R6000D DIGITAL is made for solar system, it's our brand but hyundai made it for us. The original model is DHY6000SE, i submit the manual for you.

Follow up question:

My solar system inverter has an 2-wire generator activation functionality, i.e. it will close the circut when it signals the generator to start and open the circuit when it signals the generator to stop (there is no voltage in the cables).

Is the generator in question compatible with that default or does the "ATS-connection" need additional equipment to work?

Is there another generator in your product catalog that is compatible "out-of-the-box"?

Hi @TikkaT, this generator works with ATS compatibility, i attached another manual, i think you don't need anymore to work if your inverter is compatible with this system.   

We have this other generator GENERGY SC6, this is the official website where you find the instruccions.

I contacted Hyundai as well regarding the ATS and 2-wire function and they gave me following possible solution:

1 x 3000ATSPLUG (ATS Plug to connect to the generator)

Hi again,

I bought the "Genergy Guardian SC6" http://www.leroymerlin.es/fp/16382212/generador-gasolina-genergy-guardian-sc6 the 18th of December 2017 and it has been working great with my solar system until a couple of weeks ago.

The issue is that it doesnt stop automatically although the solar system relay is changed from closed to open (sending shurdown signal), it just re-tries to start over and over again without succeding until I go there and manually shutdown with key.

And now the battery also depleated so the autostart that have been working perfectly doesnt work either. 

I checked and the 230 volts input to the generator/charger is OK, but there is no charging voltage into the battery :-(.
I tried to recharge the battery in a separate charger but it doesnt charge anymore so the battery is malfunctioning as well due to the generator failure.

The generator has only been used for about 8-9 months, how do I initiate the warranty procedure?

One of the reasons I bought the generator model is that you offered on-site/service pick up/delivery.

How do I trigger that? Phone call? Mail? Community forum?
